Monday wasn't a very great day for us (Abby and me). In the morning I was late for lunch with friends. I hadn't seen them in quite some time, so it was very frustrating that I was so late. I no longer have a cell phone, so I couldn't call and get directions. I just drove around SLC hoping I would find where I needed to go.
That afternoon, Abby had a hearing appointment. We got back to the house at 1:30pm, so Abby had an hour to nap. I didn't know if that was enough time for her to get an adequate nap, but I knew she could sleep all afternoon and still be difficult to work with. So I felt okay about that, but the hearing appointment was once again difficult.
She is definitely trying to figure out her
boundaries. This is the second one in a month. Both appointments she decides that she didn't want to play and quit responding. Because of this, we don't know exactly where her hearing level is. STILL!

STILL!Our audiologist is really great. She still thinks her hearing aids are programed where they should be. So we will go with that. I am encouraged though, yesterday Abby pointed to her shirt with an apple on it and tried to say "Apple", who knew?
