As head nurse in this outfit, you wouldn't be out of line to even call me a drug pusher! This afternoon, as I cleaned my kitchen, I started stacking all the meds. With all of them seperated on their individual counters, cabinets, shelves it didn't look like much, but when you put them all together, it really looks like we are a "drug family".
Because this winter has been so traumatic on all of us, I guess we invited any and all colds/flu's/and sinus problems in for the winter, this has been our survival kit/beauty regime... Looking at it all makes me laugh and happy that summer is almost here... Because we have almost made it through!
Regarding the nurse remarks... When I was younger, I would beg my brothers to include me in their play. Me being a girly, girl... it probably wasn't fun for them, but one of MY favorite memories/games was acting out Star Trek. Usually it was in our living room with the console radio and recliner being our "bridge", or the giant apple tree in the orchard. Lee was always Capt. Kirk, Brad was Spock... I was expected to play Communications Officer, Lt Uhura, the next lead character. I so desperately wanted to be Nurse Chapel. She was SO pretty and blonde! In remembering this memory, I guess it is now coming full circle. I can "pretend" I am anyone I want... So, until we are healthy, you may refer to me as.... Nurse Chapel! :))
ha, ha, ha - were you worried I would say, "call me Drug-Lord, Armando Barillo, from Once Upon a Time in Mexico..."
